Improve your Thoracic Ring Skills for more effective treatment & Exercise Progression in ConnectTherapy™

Are you a physiotherapist trained in ConnectTherapy & the Thoracic Ring Approach and want to know more about how to progress exercises for your patients with Thoracic Ring Drivers? Would you like to see how exercise progressions for Thoracic Ring Drivers work in the Pilates setting? This course is designed for you!

This Treatment Skills & Exercise Prescription course covers key exercise and training progressions for Thoracic Ring Drivers and provides the opportunity to take your Thoracic Ring hands-on skills for both assessment and treatment to the next level! You’ll also be introduced to how to apply the Thoracic Ring Approach & ConnectTherapy in the Pilates context – ConnectPilates™ for the Thoracic Rings.

ConnectPilates not only offers an excellent exercise and movement experience, it also offers a way to assess and treat the Driver Profile for patients experiencing discomfort and pain, or for those who wish to enhance their performance.

The Pilates environment provides another avenue for the ConnectTherapy trained Physiotherapist to downtrain & release old, non-optimal strategies, and train multiple new strategies for control and capacity of the Driver Profile across a variety of movement contexts. In Clinical ConnectPilates, programming is based on individual assessment and the client’s Driver Profile and progressed according to the three (3) Phases of training from the ConnectTherapy exercise prescription framework and client goals.

In addition to exploring the benefits of therapeutic exercise in the Pilates environment, the ConnectTherapy Physiotherapist can maximize treatment efficiency & effectiveness by using hands-on skills during movement training using Pilates repertoire that is chosen based on ConnectTherapy principles.
