Getting to LJLI from the airport, ferries, Seabus, car or bike: Use Google Maps or TransLink for trip planning. Please note: LJLI is a 5 minute walk from the Seabus (Lonsdale Quay).
Parking:
Pay parking is available at the outdoor WestPark lot next to our building (look for the green and yellow sign) or there is limited free parking available on the residential streets surrounding LJLI.
Course Times:
- Day 1: Friday, September 18th, 2020 – 5pm to 8pm (Registration at 4:30pm)
- Day 2: Saturday, September 19th – 8:30am to 5:00pm
- Day 3: Sunday, September 20th – 8:30am to 5:00pm
Items to Bring:
- Good anatomy book such as Netter or anatomy app like Visual Body
- Lab clothing: shorts or pants that facilitate examination of the entire body. Females, please wear normal bras or bikini tops that you will feel comfortable wearing in front of others. Sports bras do not work well, and please do not wear bras that cover your thoracic spine (ie. no t-back or racer back bras). One piece bathing suits can work well if they have a more open back.
- Yoga mat (if local)
Food & Refreshments:
Lunch/snacks will not be provided. Please bring your own lunch or there are several local restaurants and coffee shops within a 5-minute walk to LJLI including the Lonsdale Quay Public Market (coffee, snacks, fresh foods and market) & Tao Organics for delicious vegan, raw, organic food. There will be a 1-hour break for lunch.
We will have water on hand, so please bring your own water bottle and/or travel mug.
