Getting to LJLI from the airport, ferries, Seabus, car or bike: Use Google Maps or TransLink for trip planning. Please note: LJLI is a 5 minute walk from the Seabus (Lonsdale Quay).
Parking:
Pay parking is available at the outdoor WestPark lot next to our building (look for the green and yellow sign) or there is limited free parking is available on the residential streets, 4-5 blocks from LJLI.
Course Times:
- Day 1: Friday, February 21st, 2020 – 8:30am to 5:00pm (Registration at 8:00am)
- Day 2: Saturday, February 22nd – 8:30am to 5:00pm
- Day 3: Sunday, February 23rd – 8:30am to 4:30pm
Items to Bring:
- Good anatomy book such as Netter or anatomy app like Visual Body
- Foot bone model (if available)
- Lab clothing: shorts or pants that facilitate examination of the entire body. Females, please wear normal bras or bikini tops that you will feel comfortable wearing in front of others. Sports bras do not work well, and please do not wear bras that cover your thoracic spine (ie. no t-back or racer back bras). One piece bathing suits can work well if they have a more open back.
Food & Refreshments:
Lunch/snacks will not be provided. Please bring your own lunch or there are several local restaurants and coffee shops within a 5-minute walk to LJLI including the Lonsdale Quay Public Market (coffee, snacks, fresh foods and market) & Tao Organics for delicious vegan, raw, organic food. There will be a 1-hour break for lunch.
We will have coffee/tea and water on hand, so please bring your own travel mug and water bottle.
Out-of-Country Medical Insurance:
If you are travelling from outside of Canada, please be sure to obtain Out-of-Country Medical Insurance for the time you will be in Canada for the course.
