15 days of face-to-face learning, over 3-five day sessions

  • Monday, September  14:  8:30 am – 5:00 pm (Registration starts at 8:00 am)
  • Tuesday, September  15:  8:30 am – 5:00 pm
  • Wednesday, September 16:  8:30 am – 3:00 pm
  • Thursday, September  17:  8:30 am – 5:00 pm
  • Friday, September 18:  8:30 am – 4:00 pm

Parking:

$10 per day on site; there is free parking available near MOV but off site

Items to Bring:

  1. Good anatomy book such as Netter or anatomy app like Visual Body.
  2. Lab clothing – shorts or pants that facilitate examination of the entire body. Females, please wear either normal bras or sports bras/ tank tops that don’t cover your thoracic spine (ie. no t-back or racer back sports bras).
  3. Bone models for foot/ankle, neck if you have them.
  4. Yoga mat
  5. If you are local, a small set of hand weights (2-5 pounds) will be helpful.

Special Note:

Food and snacks will NOT be provided. Please bring your own or see below for nearby restaurants/coffee shops. We will have water on hand, so please bring your own water bottle. Two breaks will be provided each day.

Out-of-Country Medical Insurance:

If you are travelling from outside of Canada, please be sure to obtain Out-of-Country Medical Insurance for the time you will be in Canada for the course.

  • Getting to MOV from the airport, ferries, bus, car, bike etc.: Google Maps  or Translink (BC transit)
  • Food and snacks in Kitsilano area: Some restaurants/coffee shops are located on Cornwall Avenue, about a 10 minute walk from the MOV. You can also find more info at http://www.kitsilano.ca/eat
