Cranium Drivers & Cranium-Thoracic Ring Connections
Skill Enhancement Workshops
ConnectTherapy™ & the Thoracic Ring Approach™
Join Dr. LJ Lee & Certified Mentor Nicole Fournier (LJLCP, LJLCM, LJLCA) on this new workshop on Cranium Drivers and Cranium-Ring Connections.
In response to the many requests for this workshop, LJ and Nicole have put together a full day of practical hands-on skills to take your abilities to find and treat Cranium Drivers and Cranium-Thoracic Ring Co-Drivers to the next level.
These skills are especially relevant for treating patients who have had concussions or head trauma; the presence of a Thoracic Ring, Cranium Driver, or Cranium-Ring CoDriver is a common reason for patients to plateau and slow in their recovery process.
Skill Enhancement Workshops are one-day courses specially designed to provide support for skill improvement in specific regions of the body in small group settings. This setting allows for lots of individual feedback on skills and clinical reasoning to advance your clinical practice.
The unique course structure is designed to take each participant to their next level in the material. Thus, you can take workshops at any point along your LJLI course pathway. Workshops are open to all Graduates of the 3-part ConnectTherapy Series. These workshops are also helpful for Graduates of the ConnectTherapy Series Part 4 and can help participants prepare for application to the LJLI Certification program.
Workshop Objectives:
Workshops are designed to provide specific feedback on your assessment and treatment skills for a specific type of Driver in the ConnectTherapy and Thoracic Ring Approach frameworks. This Skills Workshop on Cranium Drivers & Cranium-Ring Driver will:
- review the ConnectTherapy skills to determine a patient’s relationship to gravity in function
- enhance your skills in assessing non-optimal behaviour in the cranium
- enhance your corrections skills for the cranium so you can more efficiently and confidently rule-in and rule-out the cranium as a Driver during Meaningful Task Analysis (MTA),
- enhance your abilities to change from a 2-handed to 1-handed cranium correction and identify the impact of your correction on the Thoracic Ring Controller
- learn how to Co-Correct the cranium & Thoracic Ring Controller to determine if there is the presence of a CoDriver between the cranium & the thorax
- application of your skills into the ConnectTherapy Drivers Diagnostic Chart™ to understand relationships between regions in the body
- practice vector analysis of the cranium and get feedback on your findings
- understand how to apply release techniques for Cranium Drivers & Cranium-Thoracic Ring Co-Drivers
- discuss the key treatment priorities for successful progression through Phase 1 and into Phase 2/3
This workshop day will be taught by Dr. LJ Lee and assisted by Certified Mentor, Nicole Fournier (LJLCP, LJLCA, LJLCM).
